E-mail Forwarding
What's e-mail forwarding? How exactly does it function? In what circumstances is it really useful?
The term e-mail forwarding refers to an e-mail being forwarded from a receiving address to a third-party address that's not mentioned as a receiver. For example, a customer sends out an e-mail from their personal mail box to support@domain.com and as far as they are concerned, this is the single receiver. If there's an active forwarding, the e-mail could be forwarded to owner@domain.com, for instance, although the customer in no way intended the message to be sent there and might not be aware about the existence of this mailbox. There are different reasons for making use of such forwarding. For instance, if you've got a number of emails you'll be able to forward them all to a single mailbox, which can make monitoring email messages simpler and will allow you to collect messages and respond in a timely manner. The feature may also be used if a number of people should get a copy of an e-mail message delivered to a standard mail box.

E-mail Forwarding in Shared Hosting
It is really very easy to configure forwarding for every email configured inside a
shared hosting account from our company. You can do this either when you make a new email address using your Hepsia Hosting Control Panel, or any time afterwards since the forwarding can be activated and disabled for every active mailbox with a few clicks. It is also possible to decide if a backup copy of the inbound e-mails will be kept on our servers, which is a pretty valuable feature. This can be a fail-safe whenever the remote mailbox is not available for whatever cause, not mentioning that you'll have always a backup of all messages. If this feature is not enabled for a specific email address on our end, an inbound email will be received and sent forward, so zero record of it will stay on our server. When the remote email address is unavailable for the moment, you will simply lose this e-mail.

E-mail Forwarding in Semi-dedicated Servers
Forwarding an e mail address hosted in our system can be very simple in case you have a
semi-dedicated server package with our company and it'll not require you more than a few clicks to set up. You can do this through the Emails area of the Hepsia Hosting Control Panel and you'll be able to keep an eye on the mailboxes that are being forwarded and where the messages are going to with a glance. The option can be enabled and disabled for any of the email addresses inside your account. You could also enable or disable a helpful feature we offer - a backup of the messages being sent through our servers can remain on the server. In this way, you'll also have a copy of your incoming e-mails and you'll not need to concern yourself with loss of any information. In case you have this option disabled, you run the risk of losing emails when there is a problem with the remote mailbox.
